A Simple Testimony

I know I've usually got some clever take on some scripture or other but I thought that today I would simply share my testimony. I know that God is my Heavenly Father and I am His child. He loves and watches over me and wants the best for me. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He has done and will continue to do everything for me and He is always there to pick me up when I fall down. I know that the power of the Holy Ghost is real because I have felt it lead and guide me in so many ways. I know that the word of God as revealed in Holy Scriptures and through living prophets is a force for good in our lives and the more that we study and seek to apply the wisdom and the principles contained therein, the more that the mysteries of God will be unfolded to our view. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have followed Moroni’s promise and have read and pondered and prayed with real intent and asked with a sincere heart and faith in Jesus Christ if these things are not true and the Holy Ghost has manifested the truth of these things unto me and I yet have this hope that by the power of the Holy Ghost will the truth of all things be manifested to me and to each of us that continues to draw closer to our Savior Jesus Christ so that we may learn of Him. I know that the true Church and the proper Priesthood authority has been restored to the Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith and that covenants and ordinances are available to all of us so that we may improve our lives here on Earth and improve our prospects for the next life. I know that through this Priesthood power, families can be sealed together for all eternity. I know that this life is a gift to each of us so that we may learn and grow and become more like our Heavenly Father and also so that we may find joy in the journey. I know that charity, the pure love of Christ, is the most powerful force in our lives and that we should do all that we can to possess it and be possessed of it so that we can not only obey but embody the two great commandments to love the Lord our God with all our heart, might, mind and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the diligent application of repentance, all may be made right in the end. I bear my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
