Jesus Christ loves to save us. It's His favorite thing. He can't wait to rush to our side as soon as we are humble enough to ask for His help. When we repent and ask for His forgiveness, He doesn't see sinners who have abandoned and forsaken Him. He sees repenters who are trying their hardest to come back to Him. Jesus is blessed just as much and gets just as much out of forgiving us and extending mercy to us as we are blessed in receiving the enabling power of His Atonement. I know that Christ loves us and is overjoyed when we can shake off our insecurities and our shame and the shackles of the adversary and let Him do what He was created to do - to save us from sin and pain. I hope that we will all try a little harder to let Christ do His favorite thing and help us with all of our problems, both great and small.
